Global Seido Karate Costa Rica is an official branch of World Seido Karate Organization which was founded in New York City in 1976 by Grandmaster Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura. Local Seido Karate Costa Rica is a strong member of the local community. In addition to instructing karate at our dojo and at numerous local schools we have community outreach programs such as women's self defense seminars and we are a supporter of community events, arts and local not-for-profit organizations. In addition, we believe in using local resources and businesses whenever feasible. |

Safe Our primary concern is the safety of our students. Through proper instruction and dojo protocol injury risk is minimized to the greatest degree possible. Students develop technique, control and conditioning gradually over time. When sparring does occur after several years of training protective gear is used and students are closely monitored. Students with existing injuries or health issues are accommodated. |

Strong Seido students train rigorously to improve themselves and are expected to bring their full effort every day. Through regular practice students gain strength of mind, body and spirit. |
